As a 5 year old Sydney dreamed of being a veterinarian for the sole reason that she loved spending time with any dog she met. After graduating university with a business degree, Sydney moved across the country to be a dog sled guide in the Canadian Rockies for 5 years. What grew from the simple desire of having an adventurous job was a passion for the well-being of animals, ensuring they were loved, provided for and had top notch vet care. Making her way further west to the Okanagan came the perfect opportunity to combine my skills in administration and my love for animals. In her 15+ years as a working adult, the team at Westbank Animal Care Hospital is by far the most caring group of people she has ever had the pleasure of working alongside. As a receptionist on this team her purpose is to bring compassion, kindness, and efficient communication to our clients, in support of the care we provide to their pets.
