Jackie grew up in Dawson Creek and attended the Animal Health Technology course at  Fairview College. She lives with her cat Pinky and her dogs Micah and Kiri. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys doing scent work and Rally obedience with Micah and volunteering with the Canadian Animal Assistance Team, a veterinary organization providing care for under-served areas.
