At 6 years of age, Bronwen Hulme decided she wanted to be a veterinarian and her path was set in stone from there. After graduating with a Veterinary Medicine degree from Royal Veterinary College in London, England in 2023, her life took the biggest turn she’d ever experienced. A few phone calls later she found herself on a plane heading to a country she’s never even visited. When asked, she is quick to remark that it’s the Canadian lifestyle that first sparked the idea of moving across the ocean; with quick access to hiking and spending time at the lake she is making sure to enjoy a healthy work/life balance. Bronwen started her veterinary career here at Westbank in 2023, and the most fulfilling part so far has been building the client relationships with each pet and their owner. She grew up in a house with cats, and even ended up bringing Bear, her 3 year old cat, along with her from London. Once landing in the Okanagan, Bronwen adopted her first dog, Rex, who has become a clinic favourite as he joins her at work everyday.
